Welcome to Arab World Fest

Welcome | Ahlan Wa Sahlan

Join Our Celebration Of Middle Eastern Culture

Dear Arab World Fest Supporter,

As most of you know, Arab World Fest was put on hold during the 2011 and 2012 season because it fell during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The decision to do so was a difficult one as we felt the increasingly positive momentum every year.

We were excited for the return of Arab World Fest in 2013 as we felt that it would be an amazing opportunity to celebrate the festival and the Muslim holiday that falls immediately upon the completion of Ramadan. Unfortunately, we discovered that the closeness of the dates would actually complicate matters once again because it would still require many of our Board members, vendors and entertainment to prepare during the last week of Ramadan, the most important time of the holy month for those observing. For many, preparation includes travel that would entail time away from family during the cherished holy month and holiday that follows immediately after.

That being said, it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that the Board of Directors of Arab World Fest has made the decision to put off hosting Arab World Fest once again for the 2013 season. This has been a very difficult decision as we did not want to hamper the energy and momentum of the festival.

The Arab Fest Board of Directors will continue to operate as an entity with the plans to resume the festival in 2014. In fact, upon our return, along with the our festival, we will be hosting the Midwest World Cup & Music Festival, a soccer tournament comprised of teams from various countries along with bands from the teamsÕ respective countries.

Please continue to visit our webpage and Facebook page as well as follow us on Twitter for more updates.

Again, thank you for the years of support. We could not have put on such an amazing festival without your help.

Sincerely,
Arab World Fest Board of Directors
